Mhari Colvin

Mhari Colvin is Chief Executive Officer of Regrelate, having co-founded the business in 2025. Prior to this, she spent nearly five years at J.P. Morgan as an Executive Director, where she was the Head of CASS Governance & Oversight and UK Outsourcing Governance. She was also CASS Oversight Officer for Chase Bank London Branch, J.P. Morgan Europe Ltd, J.P. Morgan Securities PLC, J.P. Morgan Markets Ltd, and Nutmeg Saving & Investments Ltd.


From 2005 to 2020, Mhari held a number of roles across the Financial Conduct Authority (formerly the Financial Services Authority until 2012), giving her expansive knowledge of financial regulation. This included positions in Authorisations and across Supervision, including Retail Banks & Building Societies during the financial crisis of 2008, custody banking, investment firms and Self Invested Personal Pensions (SIPPs). As a Technical Specialist in the Client Assets Unit, she also set up the Resolution Team before becoming Manager and Technical Specialist in Primary Market Monitoring, leading on issuer compliance with the Market Abuse Regulation, ensuring proper disclosure, and real-time monitoring of primary markets. 


Alongside her extensive regulatory and CASS experience, Mhari has worked as a pensions specialist for one of the UK’s largest investment platforms, and as a Business Manager for a boutique financial advisor for high-net-worth individuals.


Mhari’s particular knowledge includes:


· Technical specialist understanding of financial services regulation, notably the application of CASS, outsourcing and conduct rules

· Detailed risk and business model assessment and analysis

· Operational oversight including processes and controls effectiveness

· Oversight of categorisation, mitigation and remediation of breaches and regulatory reporting

· Regulatory relationship management as both the regulator and a regulated firm

· Management of s.166 skilled persons reviews

Shahid Munir

Shahid Munir is the Chief Operating Officer of Regrelate, having co-founded the business in 2025. Prior to this, he was Head of CASS Governance & Oversight and an Executive Director at J.P. Morgan from 2022 to 2025, where he was responsible for the design and execution of the CASS framework across five J.P. Morgan legal entities. This included the delivery of the CASS statutory audit, management of the breach categorisation and remediation process, and oversight of the client money calculations and regulatory returns.


Previously, Shahid spent nearly seven years at Bank of America where he was a Director, leading the Client Asset SME and governance functions across EMEA. As part of his role, he was responsible for assessing the impact of regulatory change on the firm and successfully managed the implementation of the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID) II CASS changes and the firm’s Brexit migrations. 


Shahid began his career at KPMG where he worked in both the Advisory and Audit departments, with four years spent within the Regulatory Risk Consulting function where he worked on multiple CASS reviews for large investment banks, global custodians and wealth managers. Shahid is a Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA), having completed his qualifications in 2011.



Shahid’s particular knowledge includes:


· Design, implementation, and oversight of CASS frameworks across complex financial institutions

· Deep regulatory expertise, including successful delivery of CASS audits and interpretation of FCA requirements

· Leadership of regulatory change programs, with a strong understanding of recurring issues and key regulatory focus areas

· Extensive experience in regulatory consulting, underpinned by a solid foundation in audit and risk advisory across investment banks and custodians
